I used to be an Independent Network Consultant based in Dublin.

I have a long and varied list of computer/networking skills detailed on my C.V.

I specialize in three main areas Troubleshooting, optimising & security. and tend to spend most of my time with Checkpoint firewall-1, cisco routers, firewall & switches, linux & Windows servers

I also deal with a list of other consultants and companies who specialize in fields like Mac os9 and X, database administration, and others in overlapping fields who i can put you in touch with if I cannot find time in my schedule for a particular job.

I will consider most work on a no fix no fee basis {apart from audits obviously as they don't involve a fix!}, for current rates see my prices page.

Unlike many so called professional consultants today, I will never mislead a client or install software that is inappropriate without first advising the customer of this fact
I am willing to work with unfamiliar systems but only after advising the potential customer of my lack of experience first. and arranging a more appropriate fee.

All Job/contract offers welcome. I mainly get subcontract work from larger networking companies to fill the skill gaps they may have, but do also work directly for customers who have specific needs for my skills.

I will also travel to anywhere within Europe {but work outside of Dublin does involve travel/accommodation expenses}
